Adding a New Law
Your citizens and staff can view and search New Laws on your eCode once they are sent to General Code

With the New Laws feature on eCode360, we’ve made it easy for you and your constituents to access and view recently adopted legislation in a single, convenient place in your online Code.

Adding a new law is as simple as sending an email.
When an Administrator emails new legislation to, it will automatically be posted to the New Laws section of your eCode within 2 business days. Your municipality can also authorize an attorney, planner, or other staff member to send New Laws.
Send in new ordinances as soon as they are adopted—even if you aren’t ready to supplement your Code. When they’re posted to New Laws on your eCode, you no longer need to keep track of them. Once New Laws have been codified and integrated into the sections of the Code that they affect, they will be listed in the Disposition List and the New Laws tab will be removed.
How to view New Laws
  1. Go to your eCode.
  2. Select New Laws from the left navigation bar. (Note: The New Laws tab will only appear if you currently have uncodified New Laws on eCode.)
  3. A list of PDFs will appear. These are New Laws that your municipality has recently adopted and sent to General Code but have not been codified. Click on the PDF(s) you wish to review.
Try searching New Laws yourself!
When you search your eCode, New Laws that match the search term will appear in search results.
